The primary purpose of the automated immunoassay analyzers is to serve the laboratories now and in the future. They are flexible, advanced and compatible with open laboratory automation systems. Tosoh products generate accurate and reliable results, which enhances growth and success. Tosoh is a combination of authentic instruments and exclusive reagents. Therefore, the products produce high quality, precise and accurate clinical diagnostics. AIA and AIA-CL are the two series immunoassays and tools. They both have dedicated assay reagents. AIA instruments use fluorescence kinetics to detect responses. The one cup one test principle is the core. One cup contains all the materials needed for the reaction.

Here are some of the Tosoh immunoassay Analyzers;

AIA-PACK Assays

The technology is based on single test cups each cup contains lyophilized and ready to use reagents. The packs use fluorescent kinetics to measure. The entire process takes place in the test cup that is; sample pipetting, reaction of the antibody and the detection of the signal

Advantages

  • High assay sensitivity
  • Long shelf life
  • Calibration stability
  • Easy to use
  • Saves time and money
  • 1cup=1 test
  • Cup format that curbs wastage
  • Long permanence of reagents and sub reagents
  • Up to 90 days calibration stability
  • Risk of contamination controlled since there is no transfer of reagents
  • High analytical all assays
  • Functional sensitivity for all assays
  • Proper labeling of all test cups and trays.

Bench top Immunoassay Analyzer

Bench top Immunoassay Analyzer is also referred to as the AIA-360’S. It is suitable for POLs and small hospitals due to its size and affordability. It can additionally be applied as a backup analyzer and specialty tester.

Reliability

  • AIA-PACK principle
  • Positive classification of samples and reagents
  • Fibrin, sample, clot and air bubble detection
  • Sample level sensing

Operational Simplicity

  • Less than 10 minutes start-up.
  • Limited maintenance.
  • Simple to operate.
  • Place the samples, the AIA-PACKs and press START.

Flexibility

  • One system can be used in the entire AIA franchise.
  • Combined features.

AIA-900 Analyzer

The device has three configurations which allow the practitioners to choose the ideal fit for the laboratory workload. It is the latest Immunoassay analyzer among the Tosohs.

Reliability

  • AIA-PACK principle.
  • Identification of samples and reagents.
  • Fibrin, sample, clot and air bubble detection.
  • Sample level sensing

Operational Simplicity

  • It starts up in less than 6 minutes.
  • Limited maintenance.

Flexibility

  • Three different configurations.
  • One reagent system can be used across the whole AIA franchise.

AIA-2000 Analyzer

It uses the AIA-Pack format just like the other Tosoh analyzers. It has an output of over 200 results hourly and 10-minute incubation. The system has a capability of handling even the most demanding workload speedily.

Reliability;

  • AIA-PACK principle.
  • Positive sample and reagent identification.
  • Fibrin, sample, clot and air bubble detection.
  • Sample level sensing.

Operational Simplicity;

  • Enhanced walk away time.
  • Automated maintenance.
  • Full QC package onboard
  • Levey-Jennings charts.
  • Three simple steps.
  • Place the sample, the AIA-PACKs and press START.

Flexibility;

  • The entire AIA franchise can use the same reagent system.
  • Stand-alone unit.
  • Connected to Lab Automation.

CL AIA-PACK Assays

It goes by the original concept of individual test cups and ready to use lyophilized reagents. It is advisable to use standardized test cups for consistent performance. The measuring process provides;

  • A wide dynamic range.
  • High assay sensitivity.
  • Low sample volumes.
  • Long shelf life.
  • Calibration stability.

Advantages

  • Saves time.
  • Saves money.
  • No contamination.
  • More traceability.
  • One reagent is enough for all.

The above mentioned are the common types of immunoassay analyzers. The systems are most suitable for laboratories worldwide. Tosoh Immunoassay analyzers are fast, accurate and easy to use.
